On August 14 forty-five parishioners went on the 2008 Parish Tour. The itenarary took in Charleville and Bruree Museum, with the the main destination being Adare, Co Limerick. Returning to Cork, the group attended a special Mass and had an evening meal in the Viaduct Inn before rounding off the day with a night's dancing to Johnny Barrett in the Oriel House, Ballincollig
