A herd of cows out on grass at last. The hardest winter in a generation saw farmers suffer most. Frozen ground and lack of growth has delayed planting and grazing until now. The above scene is a welcome sight after silage had been depleted and with bills mounting for manufactured feed. This large herd was photogaraphed in Rosnakilla on Fri April 23rd. |
